FlexClips ("FlexClips," "we," "us") provides done-for-you content production and distribution: we turn a client's raw video (streams, VODs, podcasts, long-form recordings) into short-form clips and publish them to the client's own social accounts on a schedule. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it's used across our website, our tools, and the connected-account integrations we run on a client's behalf.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Contact and lead information — name, email, and any details you submit through our booking form, email capture, or calls (e.g. via Calendly).
- Payment information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing is handled by Stripe; we do not store your card details ourselves.
- Connected-account and content data — when you engage us for content distribution, you grant us access (via OAuth, the same mechanism Google/YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram use for any third-party posting tool) to the specific social accounts you want us to post to, and you provide the raw video content we produce clips from.
How we use it
- To operate the service: process your raw content into clips and publish them, on schedule, to the accounts you've connected.
- To generate titles, descriptions, and captions for clips, which may involve automated transcription and AI-assisted text generation from the content of your clips.
- To respond to inquiries, deliver the free tool, and manage billing.
- To analyze posting performance (views, engagement) so we can report back on what we've delivered.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your content or account access for any purpose beyond delivering the service you've engaged us for.
Google / YouTube API data
Where our service connects to YouTube on your behalf, FlexClips's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use YouTube account access to upload and schedule videos on your behalf, and to read basic channel/video statistics for reporting — never for anything else.
Third parties we work with
We use a small set of providers to run the service, each of which processes data only as needed to perform their function for us: Google/YouTube (video publishing), TikTok (video publishing), Meta/Instagram (video publishing), Twitch and Kick (source content discovery), Anthropic (AI-assisted text generation), Stripe (payment processing), Calendly (call scheduling), Supabase (lead storage), and Vercel (hosting).
Data retention
We retain connected-account access and content for as long as you're an active client, plus a short period after offboarding to wind down scheduled posts. You can request deletion of your data and revocation of account access at any time by contacting us below — and you can also revoke our access directly from your Google, TikTok, or Instagram account settings at any time.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Contact us at flexclipsio@gmail.com and we'll respond promptly.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if our practices change and update the date at the top. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the update.
